New and Improved Steering Knuckles and 4″ Height Gain with Front Strut Spacers.
When comparing your factory or conventional aftermarket steering knuckles to BDS, its clear to see that BDS steering knuckles simply outclasses its competitors. With a taller and wider overall build, the new steering knuckles reposition your upper control arms, tie rods, and your CV joints to ensure factory-ride quality and smooth driving. The 4″ of elevated height is achieved by using a high-grade steel front spacer that conforms tightly to your front struts, Made using the same high-grade steel you’d come to expect from BDS, Ram truck owners can drive assured that their front strut spacers can withstand all kinds of use and abuse.
Relocation Brackets and the FOX Performance Series Rear Shocks
A big differentiator between a BDS lift kit from your standard lift kit comes in the form of relocation brackets for all components of your Ram 1500’s driveline. Everything from your differentials to your sway bars are provided with relocation brackets in order to mimic factory operating angles and conditions. In turn, you are treated to a Ram 1500 that drives as though it is fresh off the lot and makes your street driving experience like no other. The kit comes equipped with the FOX 2.0 Performance Series Rear Shocks that are specially designed for BDS lift systems. The FOX 2.0 aluminum body shocks offer improved cooling capacity and corrosion protection. These shocks use race-proven vehicle specific valving along with an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design to separate shock oil from high pressure nitrogen to eliminate aeration and maximize performance on/off-road. With all elements combined, Ram 1500 owners equipped with the 4″ BDS lift kits are granted a 4″ lift for ground clearance, smoother driving, dependable components, and a rugged style that will turn a few heads.

- Stock 18″ wheels cannot be reinstalled due to steering interference. Stock 20s can be reinstalled with factory tire size
