Pair of Internally Sprung 60″ Traction Bars with Adjustable Tension
Rear traction bars help keep your F250 or F350 Super Duty’s rear axle planted, even when your powerful truck is churning out some extra horsepower and torque. However, many traction bar kits can lead to stiff ride. That’s why our friends over at BDS Suspension developed their Recoil Rear Traction Bars. Just like most traction bars, the Recoil series helps keep your rear tires planted on the ground and help eliminate axle wrap in powerful Super Duty applications. However, they also feature unique, internally sprung bushings that allow them to absorb those bumps and dips in the road that standard solid traction bars send right into your Super Duty’s cab. The Recoil Traction Bars also have adjustable spring settings that allow you to fine-tune your 1999-2016 Super Duty’s ride quality to meet the needs of your current application or whatever terrain you have in front of you. This complete Recoil Traction Bars Package comes with the Recoil Traction Bars themselves, F250 and F350-specific mounts, a spanner wrench, and all the hardware you need to get the bars installed.

Like all of BDS’s suspension components, their Recoil Traction Bars and mounts are built out of heavy-duty materials and manufactured with outstanding craftsmanship so that they never let you or your Super Duty down. The bars are made out of 2″ diameter tubular steel with 3/16″ wall thickness and are each powder coated black to prevent corrosion. The frame end of the bar comes standard with a polyurethane bushing that holds up to abuse much better than stock while still keeping NVH minimal. The axle end of the bars feature the spring mechanism and a BDS large forged flex end and jam nut with a 1-1/4″ threaded shank, single-sided snap ring, and a one-piece flex ball for excellent levels of strength. The flex end can handle up to 15 degrees of misalignment while the spring absorbs the small bumps and dips in the road so that your Super Duty maintains excellent ride quality. The mounting brackets are made out of 1/4″ thick fabricated steel and come with a black powder coat finish and all the hardware you need to get them installed on your truck.
For Single Rear Wheel Axle Super Dutys with 6-3/4′ Beds Only: BDS’s Recoil Traction Bars and Mount Kit will only fit F250 and F350 Super Dutys with SRW Axles and 6-3/4′ beds.
Drilling Required: some frame drilling is required for the installation of the traction bars’ forward mounting brackets.
