Yukon Gear & Axle’s Ball Joints for Jeep CJ5, CJ7, Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are CNC-machined from forged SAE 1045 carbon alloy steel for the ultimate in durability, while ball studs are made using induction heat-treated, forged 4140 chromoly steel for superior performance. Upper joint bearing utilizes a carbon steel design superior to factory quality and lower joint offers military-grade bearings for increased anti-friction and stability. Yukon includes a synthetic neoprene outer boot and inner seal pancake boot to help safeguard interior against road grime, oil, gas and engine fluids, as well as higher temperatures. Kit designed to replace factory ball joints and includes all installation hardware, castle nuts, c-clips, cotter pins and zerk fittings.
