Jaguar recommended that Series I and II E-types be jacked from the front using a piece of wood under the front cross member, or “picture frame.” We’ve improved upon their suggested design by providing a wider “land” for the jack. Manufactured locally using tough hardwood. If your car has been repeatedly lifted without using such a block (and most have), the flanges at the bottom of the picture frame may be bent; they’ll need to be straightened for this block to fit.
