Description
This is for cars with rear-mounted fuel senders and either immersed or external fuel pumps.
Up to about 1976, XJ6 and XJ12 were fitted with front-mounted fuel level senders accessed through a panel in the wheel well. When the XJ6 received immersed pumps, the fuel senders for all cars were moved to the rear of the tanks and accessed by removing a tail light. This is the later-style sender. Please note that many early cars now have replacement tanks with rear-mounted senders. Always inspect before ordering.
