Safe and Smooth Braking / Break-In Procedure / Warranty Information
Along with the slotted/cross-drilled design, the Evolution Rotors are 100% mill balanced to ensure that every aspect of the rotor functions optimally. Given the OE design, the evolution rotors can be installed easily and without the need for special modifications. Upon installation, a break-in process must take place to ensure that the rotors become fully acclimated. First, complete 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph down to 10 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool and do not come to a complete stop. Second, continue the break in by completing 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool. Once this is completed and the brakes have cooled to standard operating temperature, the brakes can be used normally.
