Bolt-On Protection for your F150’s Catalytic Converters from Theft or Abuse
It’s an unfortunate fact that catalytic converter theft is on the rise, and the F150s with their fairly tall factory ride heights are all-too-easy targets for getting their cats ripped out by your scumbag of choice. Luckily, our friends over at RCI have a solution with their Catalytic Converter Guards for 2015-2024 F150s. RCI’s Cat Guards are specifically designed to be installed with RCI’s Transmission Skid Plate, and cover up the entirety of your F150’s catalytic converters and the majority of the OEM Y-pipe assembly which makes it extremely difficult to cut out your F150’s catalytic converters without major disassembly. RCI’s Cat Guards require some amount of drilling, but keep your catalytic converters protected from theft.
Durable 10-Gauge Steel Construction with Powder Coat Finish and Vented Design
The RCI Catalytic Converter Guards are built tough, but are also carefully designed to avoid causing heat issues and lowering your catalytic converters’ lifespans. Each of the RCI F150 Catalytic Converter Guards are made out 10-gauge steel that’s precisely laser-cut for a perfect fit and great look. The catalytic converter guards feature a vented design so that you avoid heat issues while getting the protection you need for your F150’s catalytic converters. On top of protecting your cats, the cat guards also provide some extra strength to the RCI transmission skid plate. The catalytic guards come standard with a black powder coat finish that keeps them protected from corrosion. The guards bolt right on to the RCI transmission skid plate and come with all their necessary installation hardware.
