Adding a nice boost to the power output and performance of your F150’s 5.0L V8 doesn’t mean you need to spend an arm and a leg on a complete intake kit. All you really need is Airaid’s Modular Intake Tube (MIT) kit. This completely new F150 5.0L inlet tube has a larger diameter and more efficient design that creates less turbulence and back pressure in your F150’s intake stream, giving you a boost in airflow without a ton of hassles. The inlet tube installs after your truck’s sensor housing as a drop-in replacement for your stock tubing, making the Airaid MIT system one of the easiest upgrades you can make to your truck. The Airaid MIT kit is also compatible with Airaid’s drop-in air filters and open-air element intake kits to give those systems a nice boost in performance.
High-Quality Tubing with Couplers, Clamps, and Hardware
Each of Airaid’s MIT systems are designed to be high-quality performance upgrades for your F150 that won’t let you down. The tubing is made out of cross-linked polyethylene that’s carefully molded into a design that can flow up to 400cfm more air than your truck’s factory intake tubing. Each of the Airaid modular inlet tubes comes with a full set of high-quality silicone couplers for each of its attachment points, as well as band clamps, hardware, and installation instructions.
