The factory front shock assemblies on your 2007-2013 Expedition were never much to write home about in the first place, and after some serious miles and use, their performance and overall ride quality can take a serious nose dive. Luckily, Bilstein’s B6 4600 Series Front Shock Assemblies are here to save the day and give your SUV back the ride quality and general performance that it really deserves. Bilstein’s shock assemblies drop in right in place of the factory shock assemblies and reuse your factory coil spring, spring perch, upper strut mount, and hardware which all helps keep your ride quality near-stock while improving overall performance both on and off the road. While these shock assemblies don’t provide any extra ride height, they were specifically designed to improve performance and refresh ride quality as a drop-in replacement.
Gas-Charged Monotube Design with Specially-Tuned Valving
The Bilstein B6 4600 Series Shock Assemblies were carefully designed to give your Expedition a big improvement in both on-road and off-road performance by reducing body roll while absorbing impacts form bumps in the road or trail without breaking a sweat. The 4600 Series Shock Assemblies feature a nitrogen gas-charged monotube design that gives the shock assemblies excellent levels of response and rebound without a ton of jounce and bounce after impact. The valving of each strut assembly is specifically tuned for your Expedition which helps to provide excellent levels of ride quality without back-breaking stiffness that you see from other performance shock assemblies. The 4600s come with all their necessary hardware and feature a yellow finish.
Standard Suspensions Only: these shock assemblies will only fit on Expedition models with standard front suspensions and will not fit models with air suspension systems.
