Joint BDS and Fox Front Shock for Super Dutys with 8″ Lift Kits
Most aftermarket 8″ suspension lift kits come with a set of front shocks to handle the increased front ride height of your F250 or F350, but most base-model shocks are typical white-body designs that can’t hold up to real off-road applications. That’s why you should grab this awesome Fox 2.0 Aluminum-Body Shock developed in concert with our friends over at BDS to handle really aggressive off-road applications while supporting your Super Duty’s big 8″ lift kit. Each shock is built from the ground up to provide your truck with improved response, reduced fade, and more articulation than a standard white-body shock all while being able to handle rough-and-tough off-road applications without letting you or your truck down. This BDS Fox shock bolts right into place of your lift kit’s original shock for an easy upgrade in off-road performance.
Heavy-Duty Piston Design with Large Internal Oil Reservoir
Every one of these Fox BDS shocks features a larger diameter than typical white-body shocks that is then paired with a specialized piston design and valving to give your 8″ lifted Super Duty the off-road performance and handling it needs. The shock is built around a 2″ diameter shock body made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum which holds more oil and dissipates more heat than typical steel shocks for greatly reduced fade. The shock features a gas-charged design with a high-flow piston and a 5/8″ induction-hardened chrome shaft for excellent strength and reliability. The shock has a specialized internal oil reservoir design that separates the oil and nitrogen to prevent cavitation. The shocks come with nitrile rubber bushings for quiet operation.
Each sold separately: each Fox shock is sold individually and a quantity of two will be required for a complete installation on your truck.
