The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Spring Load Leveling kit for the 1999-2004 and 2008-2010 Super Duty features a pair of air springs made from similar rubber compounds as Firestone’s tires, which gives this awesome kit the ability to level out up to 5000lbs of load from heavy hauls, big trailers, huge fifth wheels, or enormous toy haulers without a sweat. Firestone’s Ride-Rite Load Leveling Kit maintains your F250 or F350’s OE handling and braking when you decide to hitch up any of your heavy hardware so that you can more easily keep your truck on the road when pulling and hauling all your gear and toys.
Improves Handling and Braking While Towing
When you haul heavy cargo in your truck’s bed or tow extremely heavy loads, your Super Duty’s rear suspension compresses. While this is entirely normal, very heavy gear can causes your truck’s load to shift toward the rear, causing squat and even porpoising that can cause your truck’s front tires to lose traction. The loss of front traction can result in sloppy steering, poor braking performance, and even a complete loss of control, especially in bad weather or with wet and icy road conditions. The Firestone Air Springs are the key ingredient to this kit and can be individually inflated from 5psi to 100psi. The Firestone air bags can even be inflated to different air pressures to level out heavy loads to keep your truck from leaning. The springs are made similar durable, high-quality rubber compounds that Firestone uses with their tires that makes them extraordinarily strong and able to level out up to 5000lbs of load. The springs come with a full set of high-strength brackets, mounting plates, and installation hardware along with easy-to follow instructions. The kit can be installed without drilling and comes with air lines that exit under your truck’s bumper for easy access.
